Today, a seminar on Trademark Protection and Identification of Counterfeit Products is being held, organised by REACT (Anti-Counterfeiting Network).
Lawyer Florin Lata, in his capacity as REACT’s partner in Kosovo, is delivering a presentation on the importance of industrial property rights, with particular emphasis on the protection of well-known trademarks and methods for identifying counterfeit products that constitute trademark infringement.
Participants in the seminar include representatives of REACT for the Balkans, Kosovo Customs, the Market Inspectorate, Kosovo Police, the State Prosecutor’s Office, the Anti-Piracy Task Force, and other relevant institutions.
The seminar is also attended by representatives of several internationally renowned brands and organisations, including the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry, Adidas, Samsung, Puma, Pandora, and others.
We believe that organising more events of this nature and raising awareness of the importance of industrial property rights will contribute to reducing trademark infringement and preventing consumer fraud.
